Closing Question
Don't all of the sellers that are on the title have to be at the closing? We are closing Thurs. and one of the sellers is being induced tonight or tomorrow. I spoke to the seller's agent (who is related to the sellers) and she sounded like they were going to close Thurs. anyway. Can that be done?

Re: Closing Question
Not all sellers/buyers need to be there as long as appropriate power of attorney forms are executed.

This is correct. Some lawyers require an extra fee from the sellers to act as their power of attorney for the sale. It's usually done if the seller has already moved a distance and it would be impossible or very inconvenient for them to be present.
