How can you tell if you missed your period if it's irregular?

My last period was Aug. 19 even if it's irregular shouldn't I have gotten it by now? it's been 45 days...

Well that's just it...my cycle is irregular...I've been tracking it since we've been TTC...in june I got my "friend" on the 11th, then on the 12th in July and then on the 19th in august.

But now it's been 45 days. I don't know if I should just take a test. I mean I don't feel any kind of symptoms. It could be stress probably.

I would take a test just to make sure. (never know right???)

If nothing, maybe it is a little stress.

It could be stress, but I think I would take a test first to see if you are pregnant. Then go from there.

I'm hoping for it but I don't think I am cuz I would have had more symptoms of it right?

Not really. I didn't. I had a little cramping, but I really didn't think much of it. Other than that I had nothing else, and still have nothing else.

It was negative...

But I still haven't gotten my period. It's probably some hormone inbalance. Now i'm worried that having an irregular period will ruin my chances of ever conceiving...

I am sorry for the bfn. So many women have ...irregular cycles and go to have beautiful babies. I suggest you temp/chart and use opks, so you can see when you ovulate. Ovulation days change , which can make cycles longer or shorter.

I need to get my toosh to a doctor and regulate my period.

I hope people with irregular cycles can have babies....I didnt get my period for 9 months before going to an RE. There are many reasons as to why this may be happening. You should definately talk to your doctor about it. There are a lot of medications out there that can hopefully help if something is wrong.

It's so not fair! There are crack addicts that don't deserve to have babies but still have no problem conceiving and yet people that honestly want them has to have obstacles in their way...
