So a friend of mine is getting married BUT,..
but she is just going to Town Hall to do it. they dont want a big wedding. i dont even know if her family will be there (his lives in Ireland)....
very informal (like she freaked out cuz he proposed with a ring! lol) she wants a very csual thing.
basically, she just wants to be married to him.
so..... my question is.....
what to get them???? i dont want to NOT get them anything, but i have NO idea. i've only met her fiance two times. her i have known for like 6 months, but we have just recently become 'friends'

A GC so that they can pick something out for their home would be a great suggestion. Or have you ever heard her mention that they need something for the house (coffee machine kinda stuff)?

I would say you can spend around $100 on a gift certificate to BBB or Crate and Barrel or something like that. I don't think $100 will buy you much when it comes to hotel rooms. But maybe something they like to do - maybe tickets to a concert, tickets to Great Adventure, a sporting event, etc.

I think $100 gift certificate is appropriate. With a William and Sonoma GC they can use it at Pottery Barn, Hold Everything and one other store. That will be really nice.

I agree.... especially since you said you only recently became friends and that they aren't doing anything formal. If you give them anything, I'm sure she'll be surprised and appreciate it.
