Cleaning Baby Clothes Question...

I feel like no matter how much Dreft I use, Alex's clothes/bibs still smell a little like spit up after they're washed.
Does Dreft make fabric softener? I thought throwing a sheet in the dryer might help the clothes smell a little fresher.
Does anyone have any other advice on how to get her clothes smelling nice?

I use the bounce fragrence and dye free sheets. I never feel like Miranda's stuff smells and we have lots of spit up. Hope that helps.

i did not like dreft so i use the all baby and happy with it. i am hesitant to use a bounce sheet as i do not want it to irritate the babies skin.

I just checked when I was doing laundry. Its called Bounce Natural. So far it hasn't bothered Miranda at all and I've used them from day 1. I hate static clothes.

Re: Cleaning Baby Clothes Question...

I've been using a little bit of Snuggle in Jake's laundry since the 2nd load or so. I just noticed that the blankets I was swaddling him in weren't getting soft enough. It's been fine, no reactions and now I'm starting to move on to regular detergent so I don't have to buy that expensive Dreft anymore.

I would suggest trying to add a tiny bit to a small load (maybe just a few items) and see how it goes.

I spray all of hsi clothes with spray and wash (on the stains and around the neck) and then wash in Dreft. They smell very clean!

I'm just now starting to switch to regular detergent and I also bought those die and fragrance free sheets for the dryer. They work great!!

Re: Cleaning Baby Clothes Question...

Why not try a different baby detergent? To this day my mother swears by Ivory Snow. Maybe a better smelling detergent will help?
