belly sleepers
When do you have to change to sleeping on your side? I've been a belly sleeper all my life - I'm going to have a really hard time sleep in a different postion!!

Re: belly sleepers
I'm with ya, I am a back sleeper! I still slept on my back though until the 2nd trimester.

Re: belly sleepers
I was told right away. I listened just because I was so nervous that I was suffocating the baby
I then went to my back and found out I can't do that either because of some reason.
Now I don't sleep at all

Re: belly sleepers
Not until I started showing and had a belly and it got uncomfortable. I found the couch to be the most comfy since you can lay on your side against the back of the couch.

Re: belly sleepers
I'm 28 weeks and I sleep on my back and on my side. I asked the nurses at my doctor's office if it was bad and they started laughing. they just said as long as I'm sleeping I'm OK...

Re: belly sleepers
I don't find sleeping on my belly comfortable anymore, but I do have a little pregnancy wedge pillow that I wedge under my belly, and it makes it feel like you are sleeping on your belly.

Re: belly sleepers
i naturally stopped when it became uncomfortable. i wake up constantly throughout the night, i sometimes wind up on my back and then try to switch to my left. it doesn't always work out though, i seek the most comfortable position at any given time whether it be back, right, of left hand side...

Re: belly sleepers
Oh I was SUCH a belly sleeper. I stopped when I no longer could anymore due to my growing tummy. I can't wait to get back to sleeping like that becuase that is how I am most truly comfortable.

Re: belly sleepers
I am such a belly sleeper too and i didnt find it so bad while pregnant. I slept on my side but more towards my stomach. Now that i had the baby, all i can say is it is SO WONDERFUL to be able to lay completely on my stomach again in bed!!!!
