37 week appointment....INTERNAL !!!
Tonite was my 37 week appointment, and I am 1 cm dilated 50-60% effaced. She said my cervix is thinning nicely! All i have to say is that I saw friggin stars when she did the internal.  I told her i've been cramping alot these past couple of days. She thinks i'll go early. But i guess he'll come when he's good and ready. I'm really starting to get nervous/excited!!!  Just wanted to share.

Ouch! I feel bad for you - Ive heard the internals are painful...
But Im glad you're moving right along and your baby will be here soon!!

OMG....I had my 37 week appt today and was also told that I am 2 cm dilated and 60% effaced. My doc also thinks I'll go early. I've been feeling really crampy too. I really have to pack my hospital bag!!
Are you still working? I am until the 9th and it is getting really tough.

I am 35 weeks and will have mine at 38 weeks..I am so nervous for the internal.

This may sound silly but is internal the samething as a regular pelvic exam when you arent PG or is it different. I haven't gotten to that stage yet.

Kind of but they the doc goes in MUCH deeper.
