anyone else really afraid now that they are close to the end?
I am 38 weeks and all I keep thinking about is god forbid something is wrong with my baby...I have had no sonograms since 20 weeks which all was fine, but just the waiting is killing me. I just want my baby healthy and safe in my arms....it is such a scary feeling.

Yeah I have strated to get those feelings.....all I can say is try not to worry and enjoy these last few moments of pregnancy

Sometimes and I have labor fears as well. I am trying to stay focused on meeting my  and not on the fears, but it is difficult sometimes.

We had a growth sonogram at 30 something weeks, you Dr. doesn't do one around there?

i used to always fear the worse w/  and nowthat i'm 32 weeks i'm just getting so excited. i dont even let those bad thoughts creep into my head. he's moving like crazy and i feel like i know him already so i just can't wait to hold him!!!

I was only worried with Maddie. I felt that we lucked out so much by having a healthy baby the first time and that I got a "pass" since he was early & fine. I had nightmares about my labor - which were COMPLETELY wrong. I had the easiest delivery ever and she did not come out as a full grown adult female as in my nightmares.

Honestly I'm not afraid. I'm 34 weeks this Thursday and I pretty much am ready for what is in store.
I'm anxious to get it over with, but not afraid or scared.

Yes. I'm also 38 weeks and I'm scared about this also (and I HAVE had several sonos throughout my PG including one yesterday). I still pray every night that the baby will be born healthy and with no problems .
p/s - I'm also scared of labor...

I get scared sometimes too, she doesn't move around as much as she used too, getting kinda cramped in there i guess. I have weekly nst's so I know she's fine, but it still scares me that I just drank some soda and she didn't move a muscle! I want to hold her and see her so bad right now, time can't go any slower!
