ebay sellers- question
USPS or UPS
I can leave the UPS packages at my office for pick -up or I have to drive to the post office
is there a big price difference?

I almost alway use USPS because I can send the things Priority and arrange for pick-up at my house!!

I use USPS - It all depends on what you are shipping...I find the UPS takes longer....on certain packages and costs more.
For a lot of my items I use First class and it is pretty cheap at the USPS...For media items like books and cd's I use Media Mail....It is very inexpensive....
It all depends on what works better for you

When you are listing, there's a calculator to compare prices.
I think USPS is better for smaller items, especially if you can use that flat rate priority box. I think UPS becomes the better choice for bigger or bulkier items.
I send most of my stuff priority for the free packaging -- that stuff adds up too. I print the pre-paid labels off of paypal so I just drop the boxes off at the PO on my way to work - there's a big drop box that can take the priority sized boxes so there's no waiting in line.

FedEx... just set up an account. FedEx actually now has software which you can download which makes it extremely easy to integrate with your eBay sales. i've found FedEx to be cheaper than both other alternatives. Setting up an account is very simple as well.
