first appointment at LI IVF

so I have my first appointment with Dr. Brenner next week. can anyone tell me what to expect. I will probably be at the beginning of my cycle (cd 4?). don't know exactly yet. i;m nervous about this, but happy to be getting started. we haven't done any treatment yet.
plus, does anyone have any good feedback about them? my ob gyn recommended him, but I see a lot of people here use NSUH, and I am now rethinking. thanks

no reason to rethink..alot of girls on here have had great experience with LIIVF

I have heard good things about LIIVF. A friend of mine just got PG on her first IUI there.

Expect a lot of questions, usually there is no exam on your first visit.

Good luck - they may do a blood test if you are CD3 or 4. I have heard great things about LI-IVF. You are in good hands.

And yes, taking action is a wonderful feeling...!

I had great success at LI-IVF. Dr. Brenner did my retreival, although my main doctor is Jane Ruman. On my first visit, they took a detailed history, did a pelvic ultrasound and took lots of blood.

i can't say it enough times-i love li ivf!!! do a search for some other posts about them and you will see that they are very popular and well respected by many ladies on this board.

i go to the lake success office and dr. brenner is my doctor.

one thing i recommend is to buy a notebook to keep everything organized. you are going to get a lot of paperwork along the way. i bought a looseleaf with clear plastic sheet protectors to put all important info in and a regular notebook to jot down notes as they talked and then at home to write questions as they come up. sometimes you can't think of anything to ask when you are front of the doctor and when you get home you think of a million. i am not this organized in anything else in my life, so don't think i'm a dork, but this helped alleviate some stress for me.
