I was just reading an online journal...
and they spelled everything so dumb. NOW im not the best speller but this was....

Would it kill you to use the entire word? Like any1 you are skipping two letters. Whats the point 
It takes more time for me to write that . Forget about trying to read it.

I cannot read posts like that. They frustrate me to no end. It seems strange that adults would type like that, very immature. I can see it being ok when your 15, but come on.

i agree.
i mean... the occasional word thrown in here and there, but to read a whole paragraph like that.... i feel like i need my little orphan annie secret decoder pin

I often mispell things.. but I try. The way some people write gives me a headache... Reading something like this

I cannot even read those emails/posts/letters when I get them

Ugh... I think it's more work to type/think in that format than normal so I just don't get why people bother. I can understand if you are texting because that is beyond annoying, but to write entire paragraphs like that!
The occasional short hand doesn't bother me though... for example using "u" for you... in a one line sentence is fine.

Actually using "u" for you annoys me too. Other than the abbreviations on the site, ie MIL, dc, DH, I find most of shortened words annoying. "w." for with and "bc" for because is ok for some reason.
