Public Service Announcement
I got a ticket last night for an expired inspection. It expired in Feb 06! I'm surprised I haven't gotten a ticket sooner.
So I took my car this am to the Sunoco station by the train station. My other car is up too so I will do that tomorrow.
Just wanted to remind you to check your inspection..hope it saves you some $$ on a ticket.

Thank you for posting!
I just realized ours is due by the end of August which means I have to get it done this weekend!!
(Which really translates into DH has to get it done this weekend!!)

I didnt get a ticket but Someone ELSE noticed mine was up for like 5 months! 
I couldnt believe I hadnt seen it!

Thanks for posting this! I am vigilant about mine now. A few years ago I got a ticket the day after my inspection expired. I was so pizzed!

I think if you show proof that you got the inspection within 24 hours of the ticket, they will disregard the ticket.

really? I will have that. Do you just mail it in with the proof?
That would be cool.
I think it has to be no more than 10 days after the expiration though?

They come through our neighborhood regularly to give out tickets for expired registrations, since everyone parks on the street.
