scared- internal exam question
I have my 1st internal exam tomorrow. I heard it hurts a lot. Does it? Can anyone put my mind at ease?

I didn't find it to be too much different from pre-pregnancy exams...so not bad.

I actually had one at my appt. yesterday because she was making sure I wasn't leaking amniotic fluid. It's hurt...but I wouldn't say it was unbearable.

Had mine on Tues and was nervous but it wasnt that bad....uncomfy yes, painful not really. It was fast. Good luck.

My internals didn't exactly tickle. No, they hurt. Not like labor, but definitely no fun. You'll be fine. I think my doctor was rougher than most. Now, if they strip your membranes toward the end.... well, that's very painful. Make sure they warn you for that. I wasn't warned but thankfully my DH was there.... he wanted to punch the OB in the face.
