Another Meat Question

I bought a box of frozen burgers for 4th of July. I took them out and defrosted them that morning. We only used half of them, and the other half are in the fridge.

I would hate for them to go to waste. Would they be ok if I cooked them today and then froze them? Or, should I just chuck them?

Re: Another Meat Question

you should be ok to cook then freeze, but definitely make sure the meat does not have a smell or a grey-ish tint to it.

Re: Another Meat Question

you can't refreeze meat. I suggest you cook them asap if you're going to use them.
