I saw Dave Gahan in London last month.
It was during the moment of silence one week after the bombings. We were gathered on the Queen Victoria monument across from Buckingham Palace. He was with his wife and kids. I took his picture and he gave me a look (it wasn't during the moment of silence).
I wanted to scream out... Dave, people are people but why should it be, you and I should get along so awfully!!!
Oh, DH had no idea who he was

It was during the moment of silence one week after the bombings. We were gathered on the Queen Victoria monument across from Buckingham Palace. He was with his wife and kids. I took his picture and he gave me a look (it wasn't during the moment of silence).

DH wouldn't really know who he is either
LOL!! The next time (hopefully soon) they play New York, DH and I want to go. I was actually hoping they would get there acts together sooner;it would have been a great anniversary present for DH.

Actually he's smaller than I would have thought. I'm 5' 8" and he may have been an inch taller than me. He's skinny but not anorexic... just not typical for a forty-something year old guy.
I was kind of  for a few hours afterward and DH looked at me and said, "You are acting as if this is the highlight of the honeymoon". Then I got real quiet and I'm never quiet
I'll resize the pics and post.
They are ridiculously small because my camera is a lot of MgB. How do I get them bigger?Image Attachment(s):
