baby shower places
I am hosting a baby shower fo a dear friend - having twins!! It will be a small amount of people. Her family is all out of state. I am looking fo a nice place-that does not cost too much. A mid day brunch maybe? Any ideas???

my best friend had hers at Nickels' North. She had a private room and the food and service were GREAT.

How about the Snapper Inn in Oakdale. I got married there. they have a private indoor room that is cute then they also have an outdoor pavilion which is beautiful.

I got married at the Bellport Country Club, at it was great. I know many people that have had bridal showers and baby showers there as well too.
Snapper Inn as someone mentioned is also great.
Irish Coffee Pub is nice also.
I really don't know too many places in Nassau - sorry - I am not familiar with the area.

My bridal shower was at Paddy McGees in Island Park (sunday brunch) and it was soooo good! Large buffet.
I recently went to a shower (sunday brunch) at MaGather (sp?) Park in Rockville Centre and it was good too. There were a few things to choose from on buffet but then you got to choose a meal as well.

captain bills my mom had my bridal shower there, they have small and big rooms, brunch, buffet and sit down dinner, i know that buffet and sit down dinner starts at 28pp which is not bad at all and the menu is great. brunch i think was 18pp not sure. they are on the south shore on the water.

Ponchos they have a private room ) located in Island Park
Violettas located in Merrick on Sunrise HWY right off the Meadowbrook - Private Room

I had mine at the Pine Grove Inn in Patchogue, it was really nice and not too expensive.

Just had mine at La Grange Inn in West Islip. They just redid the whole place. It was lovely!

Nickel's North is no longer there. It's now called Rosewoods.
