What is a hip, new and coveted gift for a newborn these days?
We have some good friends that just had a baby girl last week. They have everything, but we would like to get them a nice gift anyway.
I thought I would turn to you gals...what is something really cool or even a cool store to order from?

Why not get them a gift certificate to get their baby's portraits done? PLaces like Babies R Us and Sears and JC Penney's and Target all do them.

I was thinking the SAME thing!
I think a gift card to get portraits done at Kiddie Kandids is a great gift (that is the place in BRU) and I would have LOVED for someone to get that for us!!

they have some cute things....I like the diapees and wipes things...I got the baby bling pacifier from someone....she will never use it. Some of the celeb babies have it.
Also try.www.uncommongoods.com. Someone bought me the trumpette socks from there.
www.babystyle.com....have some cute things too.

for my shower yesterday I got a beautiful "dress outfit" from Janie & Jack- completely different than ANYTHING else I got and I LOVE!

personalized burp cloths.. They are so cute when you are going out to use and a wipe case

That's been my latest gift for new babies...
or personalized bath towel from Babyfortunoff they embroider for free...
an outfit from denny's is also cute too...

Anything personalized is really nice.
You might want to check out Nordstrom website under gifts for baby-the blankets are beautiful.
The gc for a phototgrapher IS a nice idea for this time of year, a lot of moms take their kids for holiday pictures to send out.

It's a pad to change diapers and has pockets to put different things on it. When the baby is older, she can sit on that, too. Is better if you check it, because I don't know how to describe it
