TMI- question about the bathroom
To preface, this is not for me but for a co-worker....
Does anyone know how long before feces becomes toxic in your body? Meaning if your constipated, how long is too long for it to remain in your body? TIA

She probably will call the dr but she wanted to know if there was a specific time frame where it becomes toxic... I can't find anything on any websites for her. Any ideas?

Im not really sure but i imagine its uncomforatble after day 2 or 3 and it only goes down hill from there lol

It is already toxic .. Being constipated for long periods of time can rupture your intestines which causes ilnesses if not death

hope your friend feels better soon.
scary thing: my step-sister's daughter (3 years old ) is ALWAYS constipated!!! (awful diet habits!!  )......i can only imagine the damage that's being done to her little intestines!! it's sooooo bad, that in order for her to 'go', she has to drink a glass of metamucil!!!!!!!!!
