Ovulation Prediction Kits?

How/when do you use these, and what brands do you recommend? (I am not familiar with these at all!)

i think i used the CVS brand.
lets say you have a 30 day cycle, day 12 or 13 you start using the kits (pee on a stick) type of thing.

The day you get the positive sign, means its time to baby dance like crazy!

thats the basic gist of it

Clear Blue Easy digital, I think. It's the one that gives you a when you get surge and it's time to BD. I dont' know if it's the digital, but it is CBE brand.

I've been using the First Response OPKs. Inside the box is a pamplet that helps you learn how to use it- it tells you when to start using the OPKs according to how long your cycle is. Its just like a HPT where you pee on it, and then it gives you 2 lines when it detects the hormone. That means you will be ovulating the next 24-48 hours.

Thanks to those who responded... For those of you who have tried different brands... did you find one to be better or easier to use than another? It seems like a big "investment" so I just want to have all the facts!

I like my Clearblue easy digital monitor because it gets to knoew you. Between that and that website americanbaby.com I was able to figure things out.

I have used the $ store tests and got a clear surge each time. It is important to test between 12-8PM not in the morning as most surges happen during that time.
