So upset--please tell me I am not crazy
I had an awful dream last night, I woke up in the middle of the night and could not stop crying uncontrollably even though I knew it was just a dream. Then I did some research (yes I know the internet is evil) and read that eggplant can cause miscarriages, and I ate it for the past two nights.
I am crying as I type this, and I know that part of me is being incredibly hormonal and unreasonable, but I can't help thinking that my dream was some sort of premonition and I've done something horribly wrong. Am I crazy for feeling this way? Someone please tell me that they have gone through these crazy emotions and Im not alone!!!

Its weirdo prego dreams. I have had so much eggplant in the past 5 years and have 2.5 kids. You're fine  Just be prepared. I was having x-rated dreams about my ex when I was pregnant with Jeremy. Talk about waking up all freaked out!

My doc didn't say anythign about eating eggplant (I just ate it last night!) I'm sure everything is OK!!

I'm learning very quickly to stay away from the internet on some subjects!!
It can make you crazy!!
Don't worry about the dream being a premonition. Last night I had a dream that I was bleeding and no one would believe me or take me to the hospital. I woke up screaming and yelling at DH, who was, to say the least, a bit startled.
It can make you feel like you've lost it or make you feel like you're body is telling you something. My doctor said a lot of times our anxieties come out in our dreams as a healthier way of dealing with them.

OMG-- I am 10 weeks preggo and I LOVE eggplant and have been eating it nonstop! I have read so many books/website and NEVER saw anything bad about eggplant while pregnant. Dont worry!

Thank you everyone--I am feeling a little better now, but am thinking it might be good to get one of those heart beat monitors now, so that if have another one of these dreams, I can ease my mind!

I have been eating eggplant like crazy! But I DO have the crazy dreams. I myself had a dream last night that startled me and made me so upset I had to lay in bed for an extra 45 minutes just to calm myself down this morning! I wish I had a solution for the dreams!

When the world determines that eggplant is bad - it's all downhill! I am sure you can look up ANYTHING and it will tell you something bad about it. Pretty soon water will cause damage or something!! Don't sweat it. I am sure you and baby are doing just fine. Keep yourself positive - no need to go crazy!
