Baby doesn't like the doppler anymore!
Now that the baby is 18 weeks old, it can hear pretty well..and from what I've read, the fetal doppler sound for the baby is like a helicopter hovering over your house would be to you.
So the last few times I've used it I can find the baby's heartbeat right away but then within a couple of seconds, the baby moves away from the doppler.
It's so funny to hear the baby move, the heartbeat gets so faint after being so strong.
I know it doesn't hurt the baby but now that I know the baby is not liking the sound so much, I'll probably use it less and only for a few seconds at a time. As soon as I get a count of the beats per minute I shut it off.

LOL My daughter does a double kick and makes the thing bounce off my belly.

on Friday when i went to the doctor , the midwife would find my babys heart , then he would hurry and move away, after 4 times she finally said , ok i think hes fine! lol

That's so funny!!! You posted the other day about the baby not liking the doppler too, right?
I know its not hurting the baby but clearly he/she doesn't like it. I have the doppler that counts the beats per minut, so as soon as I get that count (about 10-12 seconds) I shut it off.

Aww thats so cute!! They do "run" away from it! It's so funny!

I feel so bad when that happens, the baby runs from it. We only do it for a couple seconds too otherwise we are chasing him around the womb
