Is it normal to have
a lot of back discomfort in the beginning. I'm only 4 weeks and my back is achy (like I get at PMS). If I stand alot or walk around alot it really gets uncomfortable. I just didn't think it would bother me this early.

Re: Is it normal to have
I didn't have it but I was told by the nurses that it was very common.

Re: Is it normal to have
Regular PMS symptoms can be normal during pregnancy so I would say a back ache can be one of them

Re: Is it normal to have
I almost posted this same question a few days ago, because I've been experiencing the same thing. I'm relieved to hear it's normal.

Re: Is it normal to have
Most of it is ligaments stretching which causes the discomfort in your abdomen and back. I remember in the first trimester that I felt like I did not "know" my own body anymore. This is all totally normal.
