Those that went back to work recently...How are we doing?

Just curious. It was a little hard to adjust at first but I have been at the new job 1 month now and it is going great.

We have our own little schedule for now

Sometimes I get overwhelmed but I decided that I will do nothing on the weekends except relax and spend it with my family

I've been back for almost 2 weeks now. It's been really stressful. My job is crazy (last night I was here until 9:30) so I'm trying to make it work. I feel like all I do is feed him and put him to sleep. I can't wait for the weekends, at least I'll have some good quality time with him then.

I started back at work on Monday. It actually felt normal for me to be at work, which really surprised me. I had been dreading coming back all summer, and it wasn't that bad. When I hold Ryan at night, I realize how much I missed being with him during the day.

I started back last week on a part-time basis. It wasn't as bad as I had thought (but I have family watching DS) and they keep me updated all day long.The days I am home all I want to do is hold and kiss him.

I wish I could be a SAHM, but I keep telling myself that by working now, it may be possible in the future.
