Siblings sharing bedrooms
Just curious what anyones experience is with siblings sharing a bedroom... I shared one with my sister growing up and it wasn't pretty! But if we have another baby one of our older kiddies would have to share their room for now until we get a bigger house someday

Re: Siblings sharing bedrooms
Mine share, they love it and I have pictures to prove it, thyey crawl into bed with each other furing the night and we hear them laughing and talking in the morning, We are awar ehtat once my oldest daughter (6yo now) hits 12 we will need to dormer up our house to give her her own room since her sister is 3 years younger and a 10 and a 13 year old are light years apart from each other. I think it;'s a great experience for the kids while they are young!

Re: Siblings sharing bedrooms
While I didn't like it growing up. Now I realized that sharing a room with my sister made us closer. When we'd argue we'd have to sit on our beds. Inevidably we'd make up since we were not allowed to talk & had to stay on beds - we would jump back & forth between the beds since they didn't specifically state it had to be our own bed.
It only became a problem with space when we moved back from college.

Re: Siblings sharing bedrooms
I shared a room with my two sisters, and my 3 brothers shared a room, exactly like the Brady Bunch. Yes, I came from a family of 3 girls and 3 boys, and YES, my maiden name was Brady... I am not kidding!
I loved it and I hated it. I was 11 and 7 years older than my 2 sisters, so by the time I was in HS, it sucked having "baby" sisters share the room. But I think growing up like that in a big family helped me to appreciate how to share and do with the very basics....
I live in a 4 bedroom house right now, so thus far, no one has to share a room. If we did have a 3rd child, I would still keep the one bedroom our office and the same sex children would most definitely share a room.
