Did anyone's hair fall out after delivery?
So, 4 months later and I'm losing it by the clump-loads. I'm going to the dermotologist on Monday because my scalp is really dry too...I've never had this before It's getting all caught in Joseph's fingers - all over his clothes...everywhere...
If you did - how long did it last???

I never lost a lot, but I did notice more hair falling out than usual around 4-6 months. It's normal though and even in clumps. I've been on prenatals for so long I think that's why I avoided the clumps last pregnancy.

I didn't lose it right after delivery but I lost tons of hair during my entire pregnancy. It sucked, but I think it's normal.

I'm going through it right now... I'm losing hair in tremendous clumps everyday and my scalp is so unbelievably dry... I hear it's totally normal

My hair is falling out in clumps. I take a shower or brush my hair and i swear i should be bald by now.

me too! my hair is everywhere! I was starting to get worried but now i see new hair growth at my hairline so I feel better, but I truly thought I'd have bald patches sometimes after I git out of the shower, my hair is definitely thinner than it was pre-pregnancy, I hope it gets better I am 5 months post-partum!

For me it lasted about 6 months. All of that hair that went into a resting phase during pregnancy now sheds.
You will not be bald. It does stop! I remember thinking I could make wigs out of the clumps I lost.

My hairdresser told me to stay on my prenatals for 6 minths after delivery and it really helped.

Tons! After my last pregnancy I was convinced I was going to go bald, even though I'd been through it before and didn't go bald. It lasted about 2 months, maybe a little longer, although I suppose it varies. Some people say that continuing your prenatals will stop it. But once you stop the prenatals it will happen anyway. The fun of post-pregnancy!!

If you did - how long did it last???
OMG this just started happening to me. Its not clumps yet but way more than I ever lose. I am thinking I may need to take some folic acid.

Mine is falling out now. It seemed to have peaked a couple of weeks ago--at 4mos. pp, but it's definitely slowed down now.

Mine started to fall out a lot when Julia was like 3 mths now shes 6 mths and it slowed down. I have such think hair it was nice to loose a little!

Thanks - I'm happy to know it's not just me I have fine hair so I'm petrified to lose any! But hopefully it'll grow back soon!
