Who else is sick of the fact...
that nothing good or decent is on TV anymore?
Every channel that I turn on there is always either some kind of dance video that my kid brother shouldn't be watching, or a show that, according to today's standards, is perfectly acceptable for the family to watch, but is still inappropriate (in my opinion).
There are very few quality programs left on TV nowadays, and even less that are family-oriented...
Does anyone else agree with me?

the only shows I watch these days are the Sopranos, 24 and a few programs on TLC & HGTV.

don't think i have seen any dance video shows in a very long time...
dance fever and Hot Lips haven't been on in quite a while now? 
As someone who is older now...not looking to watch any "family" oriented shows to be honest.
I am content with my favs that are on now...plus the slew of reality shows that keep me glued...
So i say i am content for now

Hey again. I've actually found that there IS some quality programming on TV. I have been watchin Nick@Nite and TV Land recently. They actually have a lot of shows for kids, and for teens or adults too. I have to admit that I like "All in the Family" - gotta be one of my favorites.
Anyways...I was checkin out their respective websites, and found that next Wednesday, the 17th, at 10 pm, "Living in TV Land" is going to be returning with **** Van Patten on the show. He used to be on "Eight is Enough", definitely a classic show. (You can check it out on www.tvland.com/originals/litvl/. It has the schedules for the show, along with all the other actors that were on.) It should be interesting.
btw...When I said dance video...I meant music video. lol

I agree with you!! The TV programming of today is garbage! What bothers me more is that show on MTV (albeit it's on late) that parodies a kids show with some pretty distrubing content. Just because kids shouldn't be up, doesn't mean they aren't. And how about Fuse showing that Eminem video (with the puppets) in the early a/m about his slinky or whatever?? ***? I'm so turned off by all of the music channels at this point - I want to get satellite and get the 80's music channel, etc. Even the family channel (I think it's 49) shows some questionable stuff at night.

I don't watch regular TV anymore, just american idol and the bachelor. Too much reality TV shows that all sound alike.
TV is not what it used to be.
