I just had a scare - hospital at 29 weeks
...went to the doc b/c she wanted to see me - everything looked ok and then she asked me how I felt - I told her that my stomach has been "off" lately and that I've had some diarrhea - and that I was very active this weekend and felt strained - that the baby was pressing down a lot and I had some tightness yesterday -so she wanted to do an internal exam - then she tells me that my cervix is thinned out a bit and I am 1 centimeter dialated - oh my gosh! she said - I want you to go to the hospital now and I'll call them to let them know you are on your way
I was so nervous - anyway - they monitored the baby's heartbeat and wanted to see if I had any contractions - everything seemed ok - then I got "probed" several times - ugg - the baby is head down and low (eeeek) but he said the baby wasn't ready at all - I pray to God she stays in me for a long time!
i have to take off tomorrow and rest and call the doc to see what they say- should be ok though

it was so surreal and scary!  I just posted about working out too b/c I'm afraid that had something to do with it too - like I've been doing too much exercise and running around! I have a hard time slowing down but this scared me so badly.
Thank you for your hugs! And prayers are welcome too from anyone! you guys are all great!

OMG! I pray that you and your baby are OK. 
Hang in there. If the hospital sent you home, that is a good sign.

Definitely get lots of rest, stay off your feet and keep that baby in there!

Stay off your feet when you can, and I would suggest cutting out any major excercise for a while. If you really feel you have to work out, just walk for 15 minutes.

Great Advice!!! I didn't slow down, until i wound up in the hospital for pre term labor, and now are on bedrest. Believe me, slow down before your dr makes you slow down!
