Wierd food stuff??

I just tried to eat a Granny Smith apple & it tastes all acidy & weird to me. I feel like the inside of my mouth is on fire! Is this normal???

I hope I don't have to give them up for the next few months. I love GS apples.

I had food aversions and certain foods tasted funny. It got better in the 2nd trimester.
Chicken made me sick and then I was fine.

Pregnancy can do weird things to your taste buds, but I wouldn't swear off apples just yet. I remember having cilantro my first trimester and feeling so ill from it. I layed off it for a while and then had guacomole with cilantro a few weeks later and had no issues.

The first couple weeks I couldn't have any juice or yogurt anymore. By 12 weeks, I was back to having them again. Don't give up on the apples...you're tastes may change again.

the other day i kept telling my family that the raisins they were all eating tasted weird and must have been bad. My parents and 3 of my sisters were looking at me like i was nuts. i kept yelling "how can you eat these!"

I cannot stand the smell or taste of PB ever since I was pregnant with my first child. It tasted AWFUL...like metal...and I STILL can't eat it to this day [6 years later]. I love GS apples, too....I hope this goes away for you!!!
