Ideas on how to lose a little faster?

I'm doing Weight Watchers and I don't have a whole lot of time (or room) to work out.

I lost 3 pounds in the first couple weeks on WW, but nothing in the last couple and I'm staying well within my points.

What can I do to jump start things a little more?

I have one bad knee, so I can't really run, but I walk the dog almost every day.

I'm going on vacation on March 4th and I'd like to lose 10 pounds by then.

Any ideas??

eat lots of salad with itaLIAN fat freee dressing for lunch and dinner with your regular meal (0 points).. u'll notice that u get full quicker from the salad and not finsh your whole meal . eat eggs whites fro breakfast (0 points) good luck

Try to change up your menus a little

drink more water

fill up on 0 point foods

Try the Walk away the pounds DVDs - they are routines you can do at home - not too expensive and even if you have bad knees, you should be able to do it if you are able to walk your dog. You woud be surprised at how good of a workout you can get.

Are you eating the 35 flex points? If you are and not exercising, you might want to consider cutting out some of those. Also look at the types of foods you are eating. Even if you are within your points, you might lose faster with more whole grains instead of white flours and rice products, more whole fruit instead of juices. Try eating a little bit of protein at each meal - that might help too - and absolutely make sure you are getting all of your dairy and veggie servings. there are days I stay within my points, but if I am not getting enough fruits and veggies for the week, I just don't lose.

I actually have the Walk Away the Pounds - I'll have to unearth them!

it may sound silly but make sure to eat all your dailt points and some flex points during the week

It helps.. on Ww if you do not eat you will not lose. It had happened to me

If you can, incorporate weight training into your routine - that will really rev up your metabolism.
