How much do you spend on Clothes( and Shoes ) a month?
Or when you go shopping , how much do you typically spend in an outing.
I ahev cut down a lot in the last few months, but I used to spend about $350 a month on stuuf...as much as $500 . To me that was a lot.

It really depends...
Sometimes i find a lot of things that i like
sometimes NOTHING
I can go a few weeks without finding anything at all (usually when i got money to spend)
And the BAM (usually when i do not want to spend the money) i see a lot of everything...
But for the most part i think i spend the most when the new season clothing is in...

I spend about $75 or less if I need something. We have to watch our spending but I need cloths since I gave birth because I have 20lbs before I fit into my old cloths. I have never spent alot at one time though. I would love to but just cant.

I cut back- ALOT
I was spending $1K a month
and now I am spending $200 or less
expect for season changes- then I will spend the $1K
but I sell my old stuff on ebay- to subsidise

$1000 can go VERY FAST. This month I had a few parties to go to. Three dresses and I was up to almost $1000. Unless you are buying on sale I find it very hard in my area (NYC) to find good stuff for reasonable prices. And I'm not talking like gucci or prada! One dress was Theory, one Juicy and one Single Dress...all from bloomies.
I would welcome suggestions though!

For back to school I spent about $300 - $400. During the year, probably not too much - just something here or there.

You girls are crazy! I soend 3-400 a season on regular clothes and maybe 2,00 on work clothes a year-I buy most of my suits at TJ Maxx or Marshalls

I also couldn't imagine spending $1000/month on clothes.
I'd say that about 3-4 times a year I spend about $200 on clothes. Then it's just random stuff here and there, usually under $50/month.

It depends on the month. Sometimes nothing but sometimes...let's just say I get a call from the credit card company to verify my card was not stolen

Since I got married and we bought a house, I have definately cut back. I guess sharing finances does that to you. But I would say I average $350 a month (doesn't include things like shoes, bags, etc). Some months it is like $500 and others not even $200. Depends what is going on and what I find.
