My poor mom and the phone....

So the other night I come home and my mom is like "I have a voicemail, but I don't know how to get it, when I call voicemail, it says I have none"
I look at her phone, it's a text message, really a picture message, so I open the file and it's a picture of...ermm..male anatomy.

The next day someone (another #) calls my mom all day, about 10 times, listens and hangs up, also on the cellphone..once she pics up and says "Why can't you bother someone else?" and this rnaomd guy just starts cursing her our and calling her all sorts of names...

my mom called verizon, they told her to go to the police, but the cops eventually told her the law changed and she can't do anything unless they physically threaten her..

and THIS morning, her friend, who is famous for it, called at 8:15..on a SATURDAY morning..and that's why I'm awake. I'm hating phones this mornign!!!

It seems someone gave out the wrong number -- sounds like a prize too based on the kind of calls she's getting. I imagine it would stop in a week or two or maybe consider getting a new number. Or do they have call blocking for cell phones?

That's frustrating that no one can help her.
