Period question (TMI)
Hi. I have an "Am I normal?" question. This morning, I got my period. It was at 6:30. I went back to bed and got up again around 8:30 and went to make breakfast. But I got so nauseaus around the smell of my toast. It took me forever to get up to get advil and I had a hot pack for my stomach. So anyway, I decided maybe a shower would be good. Turned out to be an awful experience. Dh is working today so that didn't help. Anyway, in the shower, I started blacking out, lost my sense of hearing briefly and threw up. (sorry, tmi) And not just a little, either. DH working made me nervous because of course, everythought is what if I pass out and hit my head? I didn't have the shower hot either. Anyway, has this ever happened to anyone else?

Re: Period question (TMI)
No that's never happened to me. It doesn't sound like a period related symptom either, unless you're losing an obscene amount of blood and that coul dmake you dizzy - but almost blacking our and throwing up doesn't sound right. I think you should call your doctor. I hope you feel better!

Re: Period question (TMI)
I would see the Dr to make sure its nothing else going on.
I get naseous all the time though the day before and 1st day of my period..
BUT dizzy and the other symptoms should be ruled out as nothing else...
Sometimes when your blood pressure drops you will get a feeling like that, and that could happen during your period.
Sounds like thats what it is, but we arent Dr's..I would make an appointment to be on the safe side.
Hope you feel better!

That is what my mom said, too! I laugh because how could I get my period full force and be pregnant? I know it can happen but what are the chances? I still am cramping but they come in waves. I don't feel sick anymore and I even cleaned the apartment!
