Venting about Laguna Beach
I'm sorry, but these Cami and Kyndra girls should not even be allowed on TV! They are mean and nasty and I don't find either of them that "hot"--I hope one day they realize how stupid and mean they sound. I cracked up when Kyndra was like: "Oh! Chanel is going to be so mad when they find out Dior copied their sunglasses!" Dior and Chanel; are they FRIENDS of yours?! LOL. That poor little Tess seems so nice! Why are they so mean to her?! Ugh!

One day they will look back and realize how awful they look. My favorite are the scenes with Kendra's mom in it...she does not correct her daughters vial behavior in the slightest! She should slap her daughter one!

I was thinking all of this last night! I especially like how Kyndra and Cami think they are soooo cool to crash Raquel's party, yet Raquel didnt even care. They are such a losers but I am addicted!

Um the problem is Cami and Kyndra are not the pretty ones to begin with!!! So they should keep their mouths shut! I think Tessa and Rocky and so pretty and sweet.
I dont even see what the real problem is - they seem to be creating drama just to do it!

LOL this thread is cracking me up because I had almost this exact convo w/ my friend after last nights episode!! You girls are right on! Raquel and Tessa are so much more mature and I'm glad they picked Tessa to do the voice over, not Kyndra!
Oh, but she IS a junior, so I bet it'll be her job next season

I TIVO'd it...so now I'm excited to watch.
Does anyone know what Tessa was "sick" with? She was talking to her BFF (the guy in the band - forgot his name) and she mentioned how he stuck through her sickness with her.

I agree these girls are ridic-- but sadly, they remind of people in HS and college.
I flipped to it last night-- I did not watch the first season but I sorta got into the Hills-- so, I figured I would check it out.
Cami and Kyndra are total losers and Kyndra's mom is like the mom from Mean Girls (Amy Poehler). I always say, girls like that learn from their mothers.

Found it. She had Stevens johnson syndrome
Stevens-Johnson Syndrome is the most severe form of erythema multiforme and is characterized by ulcerated lesions on the skin and mucous membranes.
The syndrome has been associated with a variety of infectious and pharmacologic agents. It is most often caused by drugs, especially sulfas, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), and anticonvulsants such as phenytoin. Any drug is a potential cause.
Typically, Stevens-Johnson syndrome affects the mucous membranes of the oral cavity, nostril, eyes, and both the anal and genital regions. It may or may not be associated with skin lesions elsewhere on the body. Oropharyngeal (mouth) lesions may be so intolerable as to prevent eating, and there may be recurring oral ulcers. Often, the skin lesions may look like a target-lesion (3 concentric zones of color change) or as bullae (bubble-like).
A painful conjunctivitis may occur in the eye, frequently with a pus discharge, and can lead to corneal scarring and loss of vision. In addition to the mucous membrane lesions, fever and exhaustion are usual.
Approximately one-third of patients have pulmonary involvement with cough and patchy infiltrates (material that has permeated into the tissues) on chest x-ray. In fatal cases, renal failure and pneumonia may occur.

How funny was it when Cami kept on trying to re-tell the story from Raquel's party and Kyndra kept interrupting.....I was laughing my @ss off b/c Cami would never tell her off for that b/c without Kyndra, she's have no friends....

I was so happy when Cameron left Kyndras party to hang out with Jessica. She felt like such a loser. Good for her she deserves it! Jyndra and Cami are soo annoying. What is up with Kyndras mom? ewww!
