My swing is broken... dilemma.. looking for opinions.

The other week I wrote about how Jack's Aquarium swing's fish wouldn's spin around anymore and how I contacted Mattell/Fisher price about it and they mailed me a new motor. Well this morning I tried replacing the motor which involves a whole new white part, bar and the lighted fish globe and well the were no directions and when I popped out the legs to remove them to put the new motor on the male parts which hold it together feel into the legs and can't be removed. So once again I called Mattell/FP and now I am mailing it back to them (they are paying UPS charges and for a box) and were going to replace it with a new one but instead told me they are mailing me a check on the day the old swing gets picked up. I was very happy with their customer service that I am not being charged for a box or shipping and will be able to get a check in the mail so technically I can go out today and replace it and then the check will come early next week.

My question is that Jack hasen't been really into his swing lately anyway (probably because of the fish) but I started using it again when I retired his bouncer last month. So do I even buy a new swing? Or should I maybe just get the takealong swing (he used it during the katrina evac at my mom's house and was a fan.. plus it's smaller and if he isn't using it much I don't think the factor that it is low will be a PITA)

Hm.. I'm really not sure what to do. I'm half temped to use the money and buy him that bigger bouncer so he could use the bouncer again but I dunno..

He is 4 months tomorrow and he loves his saucer and jumperoo so I don't know what I should buy or not buy...

What would you do...?

What do you think of this as a replacement?

If he's into the exasaucer and jumeroo, then I would just take it back to BRU and use the credit for diapers, formula, etc...

Proble is I had to call customer service because we don't have BRU and our TRU is 45 minutes away and doesn't always have tons of baby stuff in stock. I had to register thru amazon.com because of this. It's totally broken now because of the piece that fell in anyway. I currently have my broken motor and the new one just the legs are broken now.

Yeah I'm thinking maybe I'll put the check in his account and just save it. We were running out of room anyway.

IMO, that's what I would do....Mallory didn't like to be in her swing much after she was like 4 or 5 months...
