Baby Fetal Monitor
Does anyone know anything about these fetal monitors where you can hear the heartbeat at home?
Has anyone used one or know somoeone who did? DH was talking about getting one but I just can't see it being worth it. I haven't really heard anything about them.

I had mine with Emma and Jeremy and I actually liked it so much I bought it. It's great between doctors visits when you don't feel movement and just want to make sure all is well.

yup! i love having it b/t appointments - especially when i didnt feel her moving yet. definately helped me sleep at night hearing that beautiful sound!

Thats good to know that they actually work. Are there any that are better than others? How soon can you hear it? I thought I read somewhere it wasn't until 22 weeks.

They are kinda hard to hear under 9 weeks. The further along obviously the better. You have to search under the pubic bone that early and you may or may not find it. No you don't need a docs note.

i got mine last week from baby beat!! i love it... it's 22/month and i give it back whenever i want!!
dh never heard the heart beat so it's great for him!!
and it actually reminds me i do have a baby in there!!!
