My first doctors appointment is today at 12:00...
I am back from the doctor's office and he did a sonogram but didn't see the baby. He told me not to panic, this is normal. Is that true. He wants to see me next week Thursday which would put me in my 7th week.

Something similar happened to me. I had to come back to another appointment two weeks later (at 8 weeks) and I had another internal sonogram. At that second appointment we were able to see my baby's heartbeat. Good luck next Thursday!

I am sure everything is fine. I think that is why they usually wait until the 8th week to do a sonogram.
I am going next week for my sonogram and I will only be in my 6th week as well. I think it is too early but since I alredy had a problem I think they want to see me again.

Don't worry at all - my first sonogram all we could see was a black hole looking thing - no baby and no yolk sac!! Its normal becuase they baby is soooooooo tiny!!
