Is it safe to use Vick's Vapo rub?
I have a HORRIBLE cold and the sudafed just isn't doing anything for this congestion, I was hoping Vick's would help, but I'm not sure if it's safe?
I also have a mean case of larangitis

I am not sure if it is safe, personally I probably wouldn't use it, cause I am putting it directly on me. I would have to look at the ingredients of it though. Sorry I couldn't help.

When I was pregnant with Jeremy I sniffed it but I never put it on my skin. It felt so good to breathe again.

Yes I used this for the past 2 weeks. It was on my list of cold remedies from OB. I made it through w/out using anything else. My humidifier worked great too....I bought it right off of my registry hehe

I'm sure Vicks Vapo-Rub is fine, it's really the Eucalyptus in it that causes the strong odor, and that is fine to use during pregnancy.

Thanks. I just read the ingredients and did anm "OH! That's ALL that's in there?" It's almost all natural. So I'm going to use it. I'm dying over here!

I asked my Dr. about this when I was pregnant b/c I couldn't breath. He said it was fine. Feel beter.
