Parents...Soon to be mommy needs your help

Which is the better swing???

swing #1 - Fisher Price's - Nature's Touch Baby Papasan Cradle Swing. Great reviews, but more expensive. Is this worth the $$?

Swing #2 - Graco Silhouette Swing - Counting Sheep. This matches our pack n'play as well as our stroller, that is why I picked it. The reviews are so/so.

TIA

I have the first one. For awhile I couldn't have lived without it- now she likes it for a few minutes at a time.
I picked it because it looked so cozy.

At what age do they outgrow the swing? I feel so clueless about this stuff, Thanks!

Re: Parents...Soon to be mommy needs your help

I didn't go with a cradle swing only because it makes me nauseas to look at when it's swinging - I had a regular Fisher Price swing, Michael loved it and used it for a good 10 months or so... mainly for a place to sit while watching Elmo, but we got a lot of use out of it.

I have the first one as well and LOVE it. My son is in this alot throughout the day. I was debating on whether or not to get this one and I am so glad that we did.

Is the back adjustbable at all? If not, I wouldn't think you could use for as long as the other ones.

I don't have either (have the FP Aquarium but swings the same as the first) but I think the 1st one is better b/c they can swing two different ways and Logan likes to switch.

I agree. I don;'t have either, but a similar one (PF OCean Wonders Aquarium swing) that goes side to side or front to back. Andrew loved his swing and would go side to side, he hated the front to back.

So, I would get the first one.

I had the FP Aquarium cradle swing and Molly used it until she was 14 months old...every single day.

Same here. Jesse naps in it all the time. The back is adjustable to two positions.

Re: Parents...Soon to be mommy needs your help

I would go with the first one. My niece hated swinging front to back, but loved swinging side to side. My sister had the FP aquarium swing for her that could swing in both directions.
