Painting Bathroom Tiles?
We're tired of the color of our bathroom tiles (and the tub and the toilet for that matter), but everything is in good shape.
Has anyone ever painted their bathroom tiles (or tub) before, or looked into it?

I don't know if you can paint the tub or toilet, but I know you can have the tub reglazed, but I think you couldn't do it yourself.
The people who lived in the house before us painted the tiles in both bathrooms. In one of the brs, it looks ok, but you can tell it's painted. In the other bath, it looks gross. They chose this baby poop green color and it just looks so bad. I don't know if I recommend it.

Hi - I put a review of this on the LIW home board when my parents had it done. They still love it, and because they renovated the basement, the bathroom is getting more use, and it is all holding up well.

They sell special paint for your tub, you can do it yourself. My inlaws did theirs and its holding up remarkably well. They had a pepto bismol pink tub and painted it white.

My mom, Debbie, a new LIF Vendor (Something Different , has a picture on the homepage of her website that has a Before and After of a bathroom that she did --- it was yellow and green tiles before and now it's really pretty gray ----
As for the tub, the reglazing is recommended
But for the tiles, if it isn't your primary bathroom that's going to get soaked everyday, you can certainly refinish the tiles.... She also did it for me in our house and they have held up just fine for the past few years :) so much cheaper....
I'm sure she'd be happy to come see the space and give you a free estimate.
