Stomach issues!

My little Zachary is having a tough time of it, the last 3 nights he has been up howling in pain, nothing we do consoles him, last night my Dh put him in the car to get him to go to sleep. ( It worked, but we can't do that every night!) I think he gets constipated and can't push out, when he finally makes a BM its more hard than soft.
Any Advice???

my Ped. said if the BM is formed then you can offer water to help. Water helps for constipation

I've tried water, when he does take it, its really not enough. I've also tried bicycling his legs, rubbing his belly....

I've heard pear juice works as well.

Re: Stomach issues!

I was thinking about the prune juice, thanks Shana! I'm going to call my Ped and see what she says.
I haven't tried pear juice either, (well, he's not on any juice yet) but I have tried the baby food pears. No change.

I use those as well, they definelty get him burping but it seems like he has trouble actually pushing out.
