85th birthday gift
Help
I need some ideas for a gift for an 85 year old man. He isn't really into anthing, clothes are not an option.
I thought of getting the New York Times from the day he was born, but I need to allow 3 weeks for delivery, and I need it sooner

Re: 85th birthday gift
I was in the same situation for my great-uncle. I found out that he's a big Mets fan, so I went on e-bay and found an 8x10 pic of the '69 team.
At that age, keeping the mind active is important. How about one of those jumbo crossword books?
Good luck!

Re: 85th birthday gift
Does he have a lot of children and grandchildren? This year for my grandma's 91st birthday, we made her a collage on Kodak Gallery of pictures of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. I got a poster sized frame from Michaels and put it in it and she LOVED it.

Great ideas, and I think the Greatest Generation is a great idea - I donlt think he does crosswords, and I don't think he would be into a photo colalge
