When do you take the mobile out of the crib?
And what other toys do you have in the crib?

When they rip it down.
I didn't keep toys in their cribs very often. I wanted them to get the idea that the crib was for sleeping.

We still have it in at 9.5 months but should take it down SOON! She is able to stand up in the crib now so she sometimes pulls at the little bugs as they go around and now it makes clicking noises --- We can keep the music part of it in so we'll just take the top part off.
We just have a few stuffed animals in her crib. My vermont teddy bear that DH got me when I got my PHPT, a Winnie the Pooh, and her two dollies, one of which she LOVES and hugs while she sleeps. We weren't going to put stuffed animals in but we felt the crib was so empty when she was so little in it -- and now she loves them.

You're supposed to when your child is able to start pulling themselves up into a standing position.

4 months......... i also dont have any toys in his crib only the fishies in water that attaches to the side of the crib with music. I dont want him thinking the crib is for playing.

I just took it out yesterday because Ava pulled it down on her own. She is 10 months old. I probably should have taken it out sooner but she really loved it and never tried to touch it.....until yesterday! Right now she has that acquarium crib toy in there, her winnie the pooh lullabye soother and the musical part of the mobile (I just took the actual mobile part down) which plays classical stuff!

about 5 months - when they start pulling up
I have a Leaping Frog worm on the crib side, but it rarely gets used.
We also have a few soft blocks, a plastic sand tractor, a stuffed giraffe and the lion that used to hang from his car seat. If I don't have things in his crib, there will be crying - so that's why...it's a trade-off...I wish he would go right to sleep, but I don't have a good sleeper on my hands and mommy needs some sanity...LOL

Ha ha, we still have ours in, Noah loves it.
The ha ha bit was because he can turn it on and it is soo spooky when I can hear it at oh, 4 am...

I'd definitely be freaked out . Christopher's is still in, because even though he's perfectly capable of standing, he doesn't bother with it all. Once he's up, he wants OUT and that's the only thing on his mind.

Sydney isnt standing yet but she was able to reach and grab for the string parts that the animals hung from. To avoid any issues I took it out and left her the music part which she also can turn on herself at on g-dly hours
