5 years ago today........
I cried to my DH that I did NOT want to have children and bring them into such a cruel world. DH was doing work in Tower 1, 4 days before. I also lost my cousin in the 93 attack Now I can't imagine my life without her. Having her has truly made our lives whole 
God Bless All that were lost and their families

I was holding Patrick who was exactly 7 weeks old. And crying because how did I bring a baby into a world that was so cruel!!

What a sad sad day 
We lost a childhood friend... although we hadnt been in touch, we have been back in touch with his wife (they were HS sweethearts, or even b4 HS ) and the hard part is that she never talks about it, so its hard to know what "makes it better" for her or what to say, if anything they had a 5wk old, whose now a beautiful 5yr old girl, spitting image of daddy
My heart aches for all the families directly affected....

My heart goes out to all the families of the victims...
My DH lost a cousin that day. He was a firefighter. We picked Thomas as our Son's middle name in honor of DH's cousin.
Although he is only 3 months old I told my son today about Daddy's cousin being a hero and why we chose his middle name. We will always remind him of why his middle name is Thomas...

We had a dance lesson scheduled for our upcoming wedding (we were married 26 days after 9/11) and we had dinner plans w/ DH's aunt and uncle (we all lived in the city). Sadly, DH's aunt died that day.

Never forget
I had 2 firefighters who were unaccounted for and my mom worked steps away from WTC.
y dad had a meeting there that day, that was cancelled the day before.
so close to losing family, i can't fathom thee pain of the children who lost parents, parents who lost kids and the widows and widowers out there

I've been watching the reading of the names all morning.
It's so sad. 10,20,30 years can go by and it will always feel like this tragedy happened yesterday...
I know one day when my son is old enough to understand he is going to ask what happened on September 11 and it's going to be sad telling him about such a horrible day in history...
But I can least say that so many heroes emerged on that day as well...
