Personal ?? (TMI)

Has anyone else experienced this (TMI - sorry) but ever since DH and I started TTC again, I get very irritated down there. I think it is from the sperm, it almost feels like a yeast infection. Do you think its possible that I am allegeric to sperm?

Could be. I get this sometimes too. I don't know if you're supposed to while TTC, but I always urinate afterwards, and wash. I wait about 30 minutes though. I also take acidopholous (sp?) to prevent yeast infections. I am very prone to them.

If it is a yeast infection, acidopholus REALLY helps- also staying away from too much sugar- stony fields yogurt is very good- it has the good bacteria in it.

I may be allergic to DH semen. I'm calling the doc tomorrow. I get yeast infections every few months. But the past few days, I feel itchy. But it's weird, like internally itchy, different from a regular yeast infection. I've been spotting the past 3 days also. Very, very light, but still there. Sorry if I grossed any of you out.

I have the exact same thing as you. I went to a Dr. yesterday for 2nd time to get to the root of this. There is no UTI as far as he can tell from the dip stick and it I do not appear to have a YI, but now I am having a more official test at a lab. I kept making assumptions what this could be. The dr. actually said it could be a PH balance thing, but again he said do not assume and get an official test. I'll keep you posted.
