Grand Canyon Tips
Hubby & i are going soon. We will be near south rim. another other tips for us?? ..besides investing in a good camcorder

I went on a road trip & hit the Grand Canyon for a few days. It was absolutely beautiful. When you're sitting on the rim thinking that water created this, it's absolutely amazing. We didn't exactly camp out - it was a road trip so we were sleeping in a rented convertible
If you plan to do a donkey ride, try to reserve it in advance if it's a busy time. If you plan on hiking, be sure to bring your equipment (and water bottles) - everything is a premium there. Remember that it's going to take twice as long to walk back up as you've walked down.

Oh & since I'm into photography - You can hide your azz in a crevice, it looks like you're just leaning against a wall & you can get a really good skinny picture.
