Re: I've been in my house for 2 years..

I dont think anything is wrong with that. what about it makes you want to move, like this you fixed it up, lived in it and realized what u really want anyhow

Re: I've been in my house for 2 years..

I don't think that's bad at all. We've been in our house for 1 year and we know already that we want to move. I think when you are first time homeowners you don't necessarily know EVERYTHING that you want in a home.

There's nothing wrong with it! I think about it all the time. Chat Icon My advice is to move before you have kids!! Believe it or not, my 2 1/2 year olds "friends" is one of the things that's keeping us here! Chat Icon

Re: I've been in my house for 2 years..

We said we were only going to stay for 5 years in this house, and we have been here 2 years and I am itching to move already.

For me, it's the need to always have something exciting going on. Plus we are already outgrowing the space.

You start to want the things that you comprised on, it's normal.

Re: I've been in my house for 2 years..

We closed on our house in April 2004 moved in late May 2004 and we are in contract to sell and buy a new one!!! That's less than 2 years, so I hope that there's nothing wrong with it!

I will say it's stressful and i don't ever want to do this again!!!

Re: I've been in my house for 2 years..

thanks everyone Chat Icon

we are in central NJ and we are thinking of moving a little further south...

i just feel SO guilty. but no one here talks to us...we are not crazy about where the neighborhood is "going"...and truthfully, i'd like a little more space between my house and the neighbors. dont get me wrong i want neighbors to talk to but right now on both sides of me only 10 feet separates us and the next door house.

Re: I've been in my house for 2 years..

we plan to be n our 3rd house in the next few years. Before that, we must have lived in at least 5 different apartments. The one good thing, is that you weed what you don't need and get rid of clutter!

We will be in our house a year in April and we already started going to open houses. But after seeing what's out there, we decided to stay here longer and put some work into the house. ex: finish the basement, new deck, IGS, etcChat Icon Chat Icon
