question about my labor day party

invitations.i was going to go to party city today to check out invites..this is our 3rd party and never sent invites and every year family and friends ALWAYS brought food..this year with our new baby and too much work we decided to have it catered..how can i pretty much say i dont want people to bring anything this year..? how can i put it in the invite without sounding cheesy? or should i just send out word of mouth not to bring anything? Re: question about my labor day party

I would send out regular invites, and use word of mouth to let people know that they don't need to bring everything.

Re: question about my labor day party

I would put the word Catered on the invite. If I saw that I would assume I didnt need to bring anything?

Something along the lines of...

Sit back and relax, and take in the Holiday with friends and family....as we will wine and dine you!
