2nd Beta....
Came back at 155 and prog is 22, 1st one was 70.2 and I was told it was good bc it doubled but I'm still concerned. Is that a good increase?

ok good, I feel a bit better now...
They are putting me on estogen too but I was told it was just to maintain my levels, etc. Does this sound normal?

Try to relax and enjoy this time. Pretty soon you won't feel so great.

Two things I have read that might ease your mind...
First they have done studies that show that IVF patients have lower beta #'s then regualr PG's. Something about less time in the body. I looked this up last month and read a lot about it.
Second- I read that it doesnt matter what the number is, they are always more concerned that it doubles....Many people have had low betas and as long as it doubles it signifies a good PG!
And your numbers arent low.
I would be cautious as well, its human nature, BUT I do think that your gonna have a happy healthy 9 months

That does make me feel better, I didn't know this info. I actually am waiting for my dr's nurse to call me back to find out more about the estrogen and if its cause for concern. Thanks so much for this info though, it has put me at ease a bit

Are you sure they are not putting you on progesterone? They usually do for IVF. Good luck. Your numbers are good.

I'm already on progesterone they are keeping me on that and putting me on estrogen as well.

I'm actually kinda hoping for it... ok, I've officially lost it. Seriously, then I'd have my two and wouldn't have to worry about trying to get preggos again in a few years when I'm even older than I am now.
I agree on the third Beta. After everything we go through it's so hard to relax once we get the news.

I'm def going in for a 3rd beta there is no way I can wait until next Thursday...its just not possible  especially since I took all of next week off, now way.
