80th birthday present???!!!
DH's Grandma is turning 80 this month and the family is throwing her a big party. I suggested to DH and his two sisters, that us grandkids go in on something together for her, but what do you get an 80 year old woman??? HELP!

I like that idea, but DH and his sisters did that for Christmas 2 years ago and they have so many family pics from our wedding last summer Thank you for the suggestion though!

As part of my grandmothers 80's b-day gift, I had her and my grandfathers (who has already passed away) wedding picture with the year they got married put onto a decorative pillow.
Here's the link to it actually...
Pillow
They have quilts as well and you can put pics of her grandkids, and you and your dh's wedding pics... just memories she can always refer to..

Re: 80th birthday present???!!!
My grandmother turned 80 last month. Her gifts included:
A bigger television A gift certificate to Michael's Movies on VCR tapes Knitting supplies Books Gift certificate to get her hair done
None of these are great ideas, but my grandmother lives alone and doesn't have a lot to occupy her.
