Marian Keyes Fans...which one is your fav book?

I just finished reading my first Marian Keyes Book- The Other Side of the Story and I loved it! Which is your favorite book by Marion Keyes? And least favorite? (if you have one)

Next, I am thinking of reading -Anybody Out There?

I have read Last Chance Saloon and Watermelon. I liked Watermelon the best!

I am reading Angels right now and I have Sushi for Beginners and The Other Side of the Story on my to be read pile.

I have read them all! I get Marian's monthly newsletter emailed to me too and she's hilarious. I grew up the same neighborhood in Dublin so I can relate to everything she writes aobut.

Anyway, I think my real favorite is "Lucy Sullivan is Getting Married". Only because I read it when I was about 10 years younger than I am now and it was appropriate to my age then. After that, I liked Rachel's Holiday and Sushi for Beginners. Oh, they are all great!

I just finished "Girls night out". It's a selection of short stories by "chick lit" writers and Marian Keyes has a piece in that. Well worth the read too.

Just returned from my mini-trip and ended up buying-'Anybody Out there' at the airport.

ODonnell, Thanks! I am going to sign up for the newsletter. She is hilarious! I often find myself laughing out loud uncontrollably.


ETA: I just read her autobiography......wow, didn't realize she had a suicide attempt. Her life has really turned around.

Anybody Out There? was quite a tear jerker, but very good.

I think my favorite of hers was Watermelon.

I am 85 pages into the book and I had a feeling it was going to be a tear jerker. So far....so good.

As for the Watermelon, I am not sure if I am ready for that now....I am dealing with Infertility....so maybe, that will be my last book of hers I will read.

Watermelon doesn't really deal with pregnancy. It's about a women who's husband leaves her 3 hours after she gives birth. It's more about her dealing with the grief of this and moving back in with her crazy family.

Angels does deal with miscarriages, so that you might want to skip.
