Told my parents last night
I feel 100% better, less stressed and less emotional now that my parents, especially my mom, know. We had my dog wear a pink "big sister" dog t-shirt when we picked them up from the airport. She ran over to meet them and lick them and my mom knew right away and started crying but not embarressing crying just enough :)
Now my dog LOVES the shirt and refuses to take it off - guess that's how we'll announce to the rest of the family but not until after the first DR. appt.
